Episode Transcription

This is Dr. Mary Jane Minkin, your host of menopause: unmuted.

Hello and thanks to all of you who tuned in and listened to the stories from all the women over the past four seasons of the show.

I’m popping in to bring you an exciting update: we’re going to be releasing new content focused on women’s health that I think you’ll love – from menopause to menstruation and more.

To start us off, over the next few weeks, we’ll feature 4 episodes of a new special podcast series on this feed called Tales from the Uterus. You’re in store for some compelling discussion amongst a range of experts and guests to explore the stigma associated with women’s health issues. Keep listening to this episode for a little preview of what you can expect from this show.

For those of you returning menopause: unmuted fans, we think you might find Tales from the Uterus interesting and insightful. And the series will also expand on some topics we’ve touched on in menopause: unmuted, including uterine fibroids and endometriosis.

Although Tales from the Uterus focuses in on menstrual health matters, there are some invaluable takeaways in this podcast around women’s health at large. And as you’re well aware, I’m a big believer in the power of conversation to help normalize women’s health topics, and to strengthen our support networks. You might have a menstruator in your life whose experiences are reflected here, and we think the more we can understand each other’s perspectives, the more empathy and authenticity we can bring to our relationships.

But don’t worry I’m not going anywhere! We’ll be back to share more menopause: unmuted stories on this feed very soon.

And in the meantime, you’re in great hands. I’m so excited to welcome the fabulous Dr. Charis Chambers, host of Tales from the Uterus podcast series.

So without further ado, here is a sneak peek of Tales From the Uterus.
